Students created a vibrant field of red poppies to honor our Veterans. Using gesture drawing techniques, they explored a range of light and dark values to bring depth and movement to each flower. The artwork reflects both gratitude and remembrance through expressive line work and thoughtful use of color and shading.
We are thankful for our community, a place that supports teaching, learning and each other! Together our students collect funds and food to support local families. With volunteers from across the county, our high school students packed holiday meals for delivery. Building the workforce of the future one community project at a time. That's #FZCommunity #FZEquipToExcel

Meet Bob and Andy, who represent all of the Veterans we honor today.
Bob and Andy were honored to lead students at Twin Chimneys Elementary in the Pledge of Allegiance on the Navy's birthday last month.
Our veterans continue to serve us in every corner of our community: on fire departments and police departments; in offices and hospitals; and in our Fort Zumwalt schools.
Thank you for your continued service and for sharing your leadership skills with our students.
