Shout out to our art club sponsors, Mrs. Plowman and Mrs. Teason, for inviting an artist to share their talent and passion for art with our students. The kids had a great time ! #PSEsoars

We are so excited to share that one of our fifth grade students, Anayah Miller, represented our school at the district spelling bee and placed third overall out of 14 competing schools. What an incredible accomplishment! We are so proud of Anayah for her hard work, confidence, and perseverance. Anayah will now continue on to the regional spelling bee, and we look forward to cheering her on as she takes the next step. Congratulations, Anayah! #PSEsoars

When we work together, everyone wins! SMS book club came to read to our first graders on Tuesday, 1/20. #PSEsoars

We had a Math Support Day today with the amazing Melissa Hirschbuehler. Our fourth grade teachers dug into the expectations for student work on the upcoming math assessment and collaborated around what strong mathematical thinking should look like in practice. #PSEsoars

Our students have been earning so many Eagle Leader Awards this quarter, we're almost out of space! PSE students will go home with their awards at the end of the quarter. We are so proud of them for demonstrating the 7 Habits so often! #PSEsoard

Students are always so excited to see new books join the shelves at PSE! Remember that the PSE PTO is hosting a book fair. Purchases provide the school with "scholastic dollars" that go into purchasing those new books for students to enjoy!

Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025, will be an AMI day in Fort Zumwalt School District. Students grades 6 - 12 should log in to Canvas. Students grades Pre-K - 5 should complete AMI packet No. 1. Remember, AMI Days do not have to be made up. Get all you need to know at go.FZSD.us/AMIDays.

Today we celebrated Underground 6-7 Day for our 67th day of school, and it wrapped up with an unexpected early release due to the weather. Grateful for our incredible PSE staff who made sure every student got home safely. #PSEsoars 💙💛

Fort Zumwalt School District recommends that all age-eligible children have a developmental screening, yearly, to assess progress in all areas of growth and development, including problem-solving, communication, personal/social-emotional development, motor skills, health, vision and hearing. You can make your December appointment now for students ages 3-years to Kindergarten to help them be ready for school. https://bit.ly/4ppN4Cz

Our students are still hard at work, so we hope everyone will have a relaxing break. They will be back at it on Monday, December 1st! #PSEsoars

The principals camped on the roof today for meeting our schoolwide Dance-A-Thon fundraiser goal! #anythingforthekids #PSEsoars ⛺️

I wanted to give you an update on our two fundraisers. PSE has already raised $706 for the Wounded Warrior Fundraiser and $735 for the Southside Turkey Drive! We are so grateful to everyone who has donated so far. South High student leaders stopped by during lunches today to share more about the Turkey Drive, and our kids loved it. Thanks again for your support!
