South High Girls Soccer Coach LeAnne Sanders has been named the NFHS/MSHSAA Soccer Coach of the Year. Each year, the Missouri State High School Activities Association and the National Federation of State High School Associations recognize one coach in each sport in Missouri with its highest honor – the Coach of the Year Award. This award is presented to an individual who has made a lifelong commitment to the ideals of coaching interscholastic sports. Coach Sanders recorded her 100th career victory last season and her teams have brought home four of the past six state titles.
