East High Principal Dr. Ashlee Vaughn is the Missouri Association of Student Councils 2026 Gateway District Administrator of the Year. The Gateway District encompasses any public or private middle or high school in St. Louis, St. Louis County, St. Charles County or Jefferson County. The award recognizes administrators who show outstanding support to student leadership. Dr. Vaughn, shown here with StuCo and their advisors, was celebrated for her support of student voices.
