Are you wanting to go to college, a trade school, or a community college? Or still unsure what you maybe doing tomorrow much less a year or two years from now. Well, if there is a chance that you may attend please take advantage of the A+ program.
Requirements: (The A+ program is “DO-ABLE”)
Sign an A+ agreement form or complete E Form
Attend an A+ high school for two (2) consecutive years prior to graduation
Graduate from high school with a grade point average of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale
Maintain a four-year attendance record of 95% or higher
Graduate with fifty (50) documented hours of unpaid tutoring of students in an approved and supervised Ft. Zumwalt setting (5th grade camp, STEM camp and other summer opportunities available)
Maintain a record of good citizenship and avoid the unlawful use of drugs and alcohol (Information)
Students must score Proficient or higher on the Algebra I End of Course (EOC) Test, or score a 17 or higher on the math portion of the ACT (Information)
If you are interested in A+ this year, please go out to the West website and complete the Tutor Training, Application and Tutor Placement forms. You are also welcome to come pick any form us in the A+ desk in the Main office. Seniors, your last day to sign up for A+ is September 3 rd. If you have any questions, please come by the A+ desk in the Main office.
