Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025, will be an AMI day in Fort Zumwalt School District. Students grades 6 - 12 should log in to Canvas. Students grades Pre-K - 5 should complete AMI packet No. 1. Remember, AMI Days do not have to be made up. Get all you need to know at go.FZSD.us/AMIDays.

Fort Zumwalt School District recommends that all age-eligible children have a developmental screening, yearly, to assess progress in all areas of growth and development, including problem-solving, communication, personal/social-emotional development, motor skills, health, vision and hearing. Let’s ring out the end of the year with December Spirit Weeks! Each day brings a fun new way to show our excitement for this festive season. We can’t wait to see all the Elves, Grinches, and other creative holiday-themed outfits throughout the month!

The TCE 2nd graders performed their yearly musical, “Let’s Eat,” on Tuesday night for parents, family, and friends. The students loved playing their parts and being on stage. Thank you to Mrs. Philipak for leading them in such a wonderful show!

Twin Chimneys Share Club is excited to sponsor this year’s Holiday Food Drive! We’ll be collecting items to help local families enjoy a wonderful holiday meal.

Here’s the wish list by grade level:

Kindergarten: Mashed potatoes, gravy
1st Grade: Corn, green beans, or any canned vegetables
2nd Grade: Cake mix, brownie mix, pie mix, or other dessert mixes
3rd Grade: Stuffing or cornbread mix
4th Grade: Mac & cheese or canned pumpkin
5th Grade: Sweet potatoes or cranberry sauce

If you’re able to donate, we would be greatly appreciative of your support in helping families in our community this holiday season. This runs from 11/11/25 - 12/1/25

Twin Chimneys Pumpkin Decorating Contest

The students of Twin Chimneys Elementary participated in a wonderful pumpkin decorating contest! 🎨🎃 Mrs. Stecko and Mrs. Prater transformed the library into a festive gallery, displaying pumpkins inspired by the students’ favorite books. In total, there were 56 creative entries—each one a unique tribute to reading and imagination!

There isn’t enough space to showcase them all here, but here are a few of our amazing creations...

Twin Chimneys Pioneers, 2 minutes ago SHOUT OUT !!! This week is National Public School Volunteers week. TCE would like to take a moment to express how much we love our commuinity volunteers. Our amazing PTO hosts the wonderful events through out the year like trunk or treat and the dance parties as well as the Walkathon that provides support to the teachers and classroooms. The PTO consists of parents of our pioneers, many parents, outside the PTO , also kindly volunteer their time for the school wether it is for class parties or field day. We are so grateful that we have the support from our parents, grandparents , families and the community. TCE THANKS YOU

TCE is having a Fine Arts and Book Fair Night!!! Wednesday, April 30th from 5:00 - 7:00 Artwork will be viewable in the hallways, there will be a concert from our instrument club at 7:00 and the book fair will be open for viewing and purchasing.
