The FZN girls’ Swim & Dive team defeated Fort Zumwalt East in their final regular-season competition. With the victory, the Panthers improved their dual meet record to 13–1 on the season. Following last year’s undefeated run, the program has now gone an impressive 25–1 over the last two seasons. Additionally, the Panthers took home the team title at the FZN Invitational in January.
During the meet against East, the Panthers celebrated their senior class: Hanna Shaw, Ava Fanning, Aayla Neier, and Sadie LeRoy.
The team has been anchored by several standouts who have achieved state consideration times:
Adalyn Dolan: 200 Freestyle, 200 IM, 500 Freestyle, 100 Breaststroke
Lillian Hagan: 200 Freestyle, 100 Freestyle
Millie Lawing: 200 Freestyle, 500 Freestyle
Caroline Goeke: 200 Freestyle, 50 Freestyle, 100 Backstroke
Kassidy Surber: 50 Freestyle
The Panthers also have three relay teams that have reached state consideration status:
200 Medley Relay: Hagan, Dolan, Goeke, and Surber
400 Freestyle Relay: Lawing, Hagan, Goeke, and Dolan
200 Freestyle Relay: Lawing, Shaw, Surber, and Dolan
