Some families have asked about MAP testing dates. Right now, we are planning on the following:
Science, 5th Only: April 22 and April 23 (this week!)
ELA, All Grades: April 28-30
Math, All Grades: May 5 and May 7

Reading iReady Testing: our final iReady reading diagnostic is this week.We are excited to see our students show what they know!
Field Trips!: Our 4th graders are going to Daniel Boone Home this week. Bagwell, Fruchey, Hagl, and Windler’s classes are going on Tuesday, and all other classes are going on Wednesday!
Science MAP Testing: Our 5th graders are kicking off their MAP testing this week and will test on Wednesday and Thursday. Please be advised that if your 5th grader arrives at school later than 9:15, they will have to wait in the office until testing is done to ensure testing protocols are followed.
Choir Concert!: The SPE and LCE joint choir concert will be on Wednesday at 6pm at East HS!

Tutoring Schedule This Week:
4th Reading Tutoring - Monday, 4:15pm
3rd and 5th Reading and 4th and 5th Math Tutoring - Tuesday, 8am
4th Gr. Math Tutoring - Wednesday, 8am
Our last week for tutoring will be the week of April 27!

Staff Appreciation Week is fast approaching! PTC has put together some ideas for gifts and goodies for staff members. This is of course 100% optional and any recognition of LCE (or SPE!) staff is appreciated (but not expected)!
