Collage of Images from 25-26 5th Grade Camp

Our 5th graders recently wrapped up one of our favorite LCE traditions - 5th grade camp!

Camp kicks off with presentations, where students learn all about birds and reptiles native to Missouri, including snakes, owls, hawks, and many more.

Students then spend 3 days rotating through various stations, learning all about archery, art, owl pellets, geocaching, survival skills, and others.

Along the way, students build teamwork and connection within their class. The goal is to gently push all of our Trailblazers out of their comfort zones, to try unusual and different things, and hopefully learn more about themselves.

This year was a toasty one, but our students had a great experience nonetheless!
