Kindergarten students in Ms. Macek's class took their learning to the outdoor classroom. This week the focus has been on nonfiction texts and facts! They read "Life in a Pond" and explored our own pond for some writing and illustration inspiration.

During math time, JLM panther cubs have been working together to problem solve in many different ways! Students are learning a variety of math concepts along with sharing, listening and working cooperatively with their peers!

A HUGE THANK YOU to the O'Fallon Fire Department for making our first ever back to school BBQ the absolute best! Families from both JL Mudd and Forest Park got together for an evening of fun! We cannot wait to do this again!

Lots of collaboration and exploring going on during math! From Kindergarten to Second grade, students are engaged and having fun!
