STEM in Fort Zumwalt

In the Fort Zumwalt School District we are committed to continuous  improvement. With this in mind, in the fall of 2012, the Board of Education  established as one of its priorities the need to investigate and  review strategies for emphasizing Science,  Technology, Engineering, and  Mathematics (STEM) throughout the curriculum.   During the 2012-13 school year, a committee of board members, teachers, andcommunity members reviewed what is currently offered and what  should be considered for placing more emphasis on STEM in the future. The  committee worked to define STEM Education to guide the committee's  considerations for curriculum offerings and other recommendations. We will  continue with the planning and study phases will continue this school year. Our intent is to continue to grow STEM education opportunities for Fort Zumwalt School District students as determined by our committee planning.

Our Mission
