Our diversity clubs are continuing to work towards creating opportunities for diversity and inclusion awareness in their schools. FZEiAm, Fort Zumwalt East High’s diversity club, has been working to create a space for students to have the difficult conversations necessary to understand ourselves and each other.

Juan Wilson, Fort Zumwalt School District’s Coordinator of Diversity and Awareness, led the group through a workshop where they discussed defining and recognizing bias, stereotypes, and learned how to confront bias within themselves and others. The day was full of courageous conversations and students shared their personal experiences.

We can’t thank Mrs. Iadevito and Ms. Vaughn for coordinating the workshop and making this event possible.
