Fort Zumwalt School District offers to all benefit eligible staff [including their family members] for FREE an Employee Assistance Program (EAP)! Please reach out to the Benefits Department for information on how to utilize this benefit.
Remember, this does not take away from Fort Zumwalt's current mental health benefits. However, this EAP can also help with many areas that are not covered by our medical insurance.
Some of the benefits include:
Up to five (5) FREE visits per occurrence for counseling/therapy either in-person or by phone -Think "my parents are declining and I'm struggling (5 visits)" or "I'm going through a divorce (5 visits for you and 5 visits for your spouse)"
Family Caregiving Services - Think "transitioning a parent to assisted living" or "daycare/camps, or even adult daycare options"
Financial Services - Think "What can I do to start planning for college?" "What do I need to think about before I retire?"
Legal Services - Think "Where do I start if I want to do a Will or Trust?" "What do I need to consider for guardianship for my children?"
Convenience Services - Think "I need someone to fix my door, who can I call?" "My spouse is getting relocated, what do we need to think about?"
