As we enter the second week of the 2019-2020 school year, we’ve started visiting the different school across the District. We had an opportunity do stop by Fort Zumwalt East High School just as the school day was ending and the students were heading to practice. We bumped into some of the girls heading to softball, volleyball, and cheer practice, and they asked if we were going to hang out for a little while.

So we did.

Our favorite part of visiting the schools in the District is watching how students not only work together, but enjoy their time bonding as a team. It’s a true testament to our belief that there is strength in diversity.
