Be the "i" in Kind

Students in Fort Zumwalt North High School’s Biomedical Department/HOSA, wanted to promote kindness within their school. So the group, with the help of their teacher Mrs. Hinchsliff, put together a large wall design made of paper to hang in the entrance to one of the hallways. On the paper wall the words “Be the ‘i’ in KIND” are displayed, but the “i” in KIND is missing. That’s where the students want other members of the Fort Zumwalt North High community to fill in. The students encourage everyone within the school to stop by the paper wall and take a photo of themselves being the “i”, and posting their photos to social media using the hashtag “fortheZ”.

Kindness looks and sounds different to everyone, just as we do to one another. Practicing kindness every day is the best way for us to help and understand one another just a little bit better.

Here are a few photos from the students working on being the “i” in KIND.
