Senior Maya West represented our Lions at the state swim and dive meet this past week. She qualified in two events, the 200 freestyle and the 500 freestyle. In the 200 freestyle, she competed hard and finished 13th in the state. The 500 freestyle was a different story; she raced on Thursday and qualified for the finals on Friday. To end her career, she took 7th in the finals and made the state podium, a true testament to her work and commitment to our Lions and her craft. She also broke the school record for the 50 freestyle this year with a 26.44 time. Congratulations, Maya, on a fantastic career. We are so proud of you!
