Senior standout Owen Podmore has reached the pinnacle of high school athletics, being named First Team All-State in Soccer and earning an induction into the FZE Wall of Honor.
Owen was a senior on our state soccer team this past fall. Through his four years, Owen amassed 41 goals (11 game-winning goals) and 100 points on the soccer team. This season, he tallied 18 goals (4 game winners) and 3 assists, helping lead our soccer team to its first-ever state championship game. He earned first team all conference, all district, all region, regional offensive player of the year and the coach’s association voted him first team all state as a forward, and he will be forever on our walls at East High. Podmore also leaves his mark on the program as the new record holder for Career Game-Winning Goals.
