Ian deserves to be named participant of the week. Ian serves the theater program in whatever way he can without complaint. Despite not receiving a part in the cast, Ian quickly asked to pursue his newest tech passion: lights. Ian asked for audition feedback, and he accepted this feedback with grace and understanding. Ian has also been an amazing peer mentor. He never hesitates to assist the class he mentors. He has been researching materials for his college auditions and Thespy performances that will happen at the annual Mo State Thespian Conference. Ian fulfils all of these things while also taking AP and college credit classes, and working at Scooters. Ian is part of our color guard too, and they have been crushing their competitions!
Ian is also involved in color guard and winter guard. In addition to guard, Ian is a member of our choir (All State!) and was cast in YPT's production of White Christmas this fall.
Ian says excellence is trying your hardest to succeed at something. Excellence isn't just the achievement him, it's the process he goes through to achieve success.
