Our FZE boys soccer team defeated their rivals, FZS, 2-1 this past Tuesday. This marks the program's third district championship under Coach Wesche's leadership. The first half was pretty quiet as both teams felt each other out. The Lions' Ayden Byrkit just narrowly missed finishing a Noah Emmerich throw, and Owen Podmore just missed finishing a cross from Byrkit later in the half. In the second half, Owen Podmore drew a penalty and buried the penalty with authority for the 1-0 lead. With about 15 minutes remaining, Hudson Curp pounded a thirty-yard shot off the left post for the 2-0 lead. Five minutes later, South got on the scoreboard with a penalty of their own. Hudson Kocher had to make two big stops, most notably on a breakaway with around three minutes to remain. The game had everything: tons of fans, lots of action, a Lions win, and the Northern Lights!

Entry Point: Please enter the field area from Lot #11 (look for the yellow star on the map).
Campus Entrances: Use Entrance #3 from Conway Road or Entrance #1 from Mason Road.
Handicapped Parking: Available along the grass at Field E for vehicles with an official tag. Coaches and officials may also park here.
