I am hoping to nominate Keith because of everything he does for Concert Orchestra! Keith volunteers at every opportunity. He has helped with Homecoming, worked the orchestra night concession stand, figuring out ways to highlight our concerts, and is always volunteering to do more. On top of volunteering Keith has been a great leader in Concert Orchestra. He is positive, includes other people, and runs cello sectionals like a pro. Keith clearly loves playing the cello and brings his love for music everyday to class. He is respected by his peers and is truly a joy to have in class. Keith is a student leader with a kind heart. He is inspiring to the freshmen in the cello section of the orchestra and the entire orchestra with his ability to play confidently and his compassion to help them perform at a higher level. Keith was promoted to section leader of the concert orchestra cello section.
Community means to Keith including everyone around and giving them that sense of safety. It's also making sure people feel seen and have somewhere to go when needed.
