Hattie has been coaching cheerleading at East for the past three years. She is a proud Fort Zumwalt East graduate and attended Lindenwood for her undergrad in secondary education.
Favorite Sport Memory: There is no better feeling than watching everyone’s hard work pay off. A highlight of every year is watching our end of season routine. From the coaching staff to the cheerleaders, it’s so amazing watching everyone’s contributions and time commitments pay off.

I look forward to coaching every day. When school’s hard, it’s my escape. The passion I have for cheer and the joy it brings to the athletes makes my life whole. From the little victories to the daily jokes, it’s a great experience.
What excites her the most about joining the Lion Pride? Starting a new sport for female athletes is always a huge accomplishment, but the real value is giving female athletes another path. Even if it’s for a season, for high school, a way to college, a way to perfection, all of it leaves them with better qualities that enhance them as members of society.
