Jake is everything we'd want in an East High athlete. He is a positive force on the field, often times shaking off negative chants and jeers at him while he is trying to perform. His energy and attitude lifts those around him, so when the chips are down our team is up. He has an unbelievable motor in our midfield and covers so much ground through our midfield. Jake plays fair, competes with class, and represents all that is good in high school sports. Because he is a class competitor, hard-working, and positive, his stats are the best on the team with 8 goals and 6 assists. Jake has led this soccer team to arguably one of it's best seasons so far and I hope he continues to lead us to the best season ever.
Jake is also involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, DECA, PPI, The 600, Captain's Club, and Leader League.
Jake says integrity is all about being passionate and hardworking. He makes sure that his play leaves it all on the line when competing and doing it the right way. He also strives to embody relationships and build his teammates up.
