In track and field, Brysen Spears set new school records in both the high jump and triple jump, clearing 6 feet, 4 and a quarter inches in the high jump (a record previously held by Michael Mahoney and Donovan Shankes in 2012) and reaching 45 feet, 5.7 inches in the triple jump (a record previously held by D’Andre Campbell of 2012). Brysen capped off his season with a 3rd-place finish at state in the triple jump.
