Our Lion Pride Marching Band is having a great fall! It certainly isn't the normal fall of home football games, given our first home game was September 26th, so our marching band has had to adjust to get prepared for their competition season. I'd say adjustments were successful. So far our band has earned the following honors:
Farmington High School - 1st Place in their class and 2nd Place Overall
Fox High School - 2nd Place in their class and 4th Place Overall
Smith Cotton High School - Guard received 1st in their class and 2nd Overall, Percussion earned 1st overall and 1st in their class at the indoor competition, Caption awards for Outstanding Music, Outstanding Effect, and Outstanding Percussion, Marching Band earned 1st in their class and 1st overall in the field show competition, which earned them the title of GRAND CHAMPION!
We are beyond proud of their efforts and can't wait to see them perform their full show this week at our Homecoming football game against Liberty. Kickoff is at 7pm with our Marching Lions performing at halftime.
