The fifth graders in Mr. Simpkins’s classroom recently led a special lesson on gratitude for Mrs. Zeek’s kindergarten students. While the teachers were present to support, all of the instruction was delivered by our fifth-grade leaders.
The students enjoyed sharing and discussing what they are thankful for during this holiday season. It was wonderful to see the fifth graders demonstrate their leadership skills, and the kindergarteners did an excellent job listening and participating.
This collaboration was a meaningful opportunity for both groups and a great example of our school community learning together.
