Fort Zumwalt South High School will be celebrating its 25th anniversary the week of January 30. Staff will celebrate all week long with a culminating event on Friday, February 3. The celebration will include spirit
days with an ‘80’s theme, staff pictures from 1987, a potluck with a 25th Anniversary Cookbook, trivia and music from 1987, a quarter collection for a staff scholarship, and much more. On Friday, February 3, an open house reception and a varsity boys basketball game will take place. All of the original staff and coaches from 1987 have been invited along with the JV boy and girl players from 1987. Original basketball players, coaches, and two remaining original staff members will be honored at the half-time of the ballgame. The open house reception will take place before the ballgame at 5:30 p.m. At the open house, artifacts from the first year will be on display and tours of the building will be provided.
