DuBray Middle School NJHS students participated in  two service projects this
holiday season. The first project was making hundreds of Christmas and holiday cards for nursing home residents, and students wrote messages in the cards and decorated the envelopes with beautiful artwork and mint candies. The second project was adopting a family from the St. Louis Post Dispatch's 100 Neediest Family list. Students donated items on the list and stayed after school to wrap the items for the family. One of the children from our adopted family had a guitar on his wish list and an NJHS student donated her guitar after paying for the restringing with her allowance money. At our December meeting, NJHS members shared how wonderful they felt for participating in
the service projects and being a part of making the holidays special for others.
